After missing the registration window for WordCamp last year, I was finally able to get in this year (thanks to all those who cancelled their registrations and allowed us waitlisters to get in, yay!). The talks were mostly excellent, and I learned a whole lot of new things about server optimization, CMS, blogging ethics, and social networking, among others. Also, I got to meet Matt Mullenweg, the founding developer of WordPress.
The pic is really blurry, but only because I had to ask a complete stranger to take it, and so of course he wasn’t very familiar with my camera type. Still, thank you Complete Stranger at WordCamp for taking the photo.
I had a great time at WordCamp, and it seemed like everyone else did, too. I hope I get to do this again next year.
