Some photos taken during FFFF

I didn’t get to take a lot of pictures during the First Filipino Freethinkers Forum last Saturday because I was, well, listening to the speakers and at times videotaping with my camcorder. Also, excuse the mediocre quality, I was using my phone camera.

All in all, it was an excellent day. The company was fun, the speakers were interesting (I particularly liked Dr. Sylvia Estrada-Claudio’s talk on the RH bill), and the swag was cool. I’m actually wearing the FFFF tee right now. It’s very slimming, haha.

Oh, yeah, about the videos. I’ll post them after I cut them up into ten-minute bits for YouTube. I didn’t videotape everything — someone else in the AV committee did that — but I like working with my own footage. I might even do something crazy with it, like put in a horror soundtrack or something. Who knows.

Hi Wes! Unfortunately, I was really puyat so I had to leave right after FFFF. I did run into PSF vets Alex Osias and Charles Tan, though. Did you attend the launch? How did it go?

  2. Wes

err no, I also had to skedaddle as well. I only managed to catch up a bit with Charles, we haven’t seen each other since our dice-chucking days 😛

Buti pa sila nakahanap ng market for local scifi lit noh? hehe. kelan kaya magkakaroon ng published anthology on freethought? freethinking? freethinking-ism? freethough-ism? I dont even know the proper term, hehe

  3. Tania

You’re right. Before we can publish freethinking books, maybe we should first decide on the terms, hehehe. Kahit ako nalilito.

So, what do you think ?
